Sharp County Sheriff Reports Domestic Violence and Drug-Related Arrests

ASH FLAT, Ark. — The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has released its list of recent incarcerations for the week of August 18–25, 2025. Chief Deputy Kevin “Bart” Simpson reported the following arrests:

  • Caleb Blackmer, 36, of Cherokee Village — Domestic Battering (2nd Degree) and Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member.

  • Jasmine Blackmer, 35, of Cherokee Village — Domestic Battering (2nd Degree).

  • James Brink, 41, of Hardy — Driving with a Suspended/Revoked License, No Proof of Liability Insurance, and Failure to Pay Time Pay Fines.

  • Jan Buch, 64, of Cherokee Village — Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication.

  • Jerry Clements, 57, of Horseshoe Bend — Failure to Appear on Contempt of Court (Non-Payment of Fines).

  • Marshall Coleman, 28, of Magness — Failure to Pay Time Pay on Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License, No Lights, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of an Instrument of Crime.

  • Skylar Dotson, 25, of Hoxie — Failure to Appear on Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License and Expired Tags, Failure to Pay Time Pay, and Failure to Pay Fines.

  • Cody Edwards, 39, of Munford, Tenn. — Failure to Appear on multiple charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I/II: methamphetamine/cocaine under 2 grams), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, No Proof of Liability Insurance, Fictitious Tags, and Operating a Motorcycle without a License.

  • Jacob Gibson, 36, of Pocahontas — Failure to Pay Time Pay on Criminal Mischief (1st Degree) and Drinking in Public.

  • Bryan Harper, 39, of Hardy — Criminal Trespass.

  • Joseph Herron, 44, of Hardy — Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Meth/Cocaine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I/II: meth/cocaine under 2 grams), and White Warrant.

  • Justin Hunter, 30, of Batesville — Public Intoxication/Drinking in Public.

  • Charles Ivey, 68, of Hardy — Violation of a No Contact Order.

  • Kelly Lipps, 57, of Batesville — Public Intoxication and Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle.

  • Glenn Martin, 44, of Bald Knob — Held for Court.

  • Zachery McCord, 42, of Gassville — Failure to Appear on Violation of a Restricted License.

  • James McCracken, 56, of Sidney — Criminal Mischief (1st Degree: Damage over $1,000 but less than $5,000).

  • Mickey Naphoxay, 23, of Williford — Hold for Other County/State.

  • Chase Olive, 33, of Cherokee Village — Domestic Battering (2nd Degree).

  • Iloha Upchurch, 41, of Sidney — Direct Contempt of Court.

  • Branon Updegraff, 58, of Ash Flat — Criminal Trespassing.

  • Jocelyn Watts, 28, of Southaven, Miss. — Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Controlled Substance (Schedule I/II: meth/cocaine under 2 grams).

  • Harold Wrinkle, 55, of Evening Shade — Held for Court.
