Sharp County Sheriff’s Office Addresses Safety Ahead of Planned Courthouse Protest

Sharp County, AR — The Sharp County Sheriff’s Office has issued a public statement ahead of a planned protest set to take place at the courthouse during Circuit Court proceedings this coming Monday. Sheriff Shane Russell assures the community that public safety remains a top priority and that law enforcement will be on hand to ensure a peaceful and secure environment.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, while many of those planning to gather intend to do so peacefully, concerns have been raised by citizens regarding their safety while conducting regular courthouse business.
