YELLVILLE, Ark. — The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reported a busy week ending March 27, with deputies responding to 72 calls for service, according to a weekly press release.
Among those calls were three wellbeing checks. Deputies made three misdemeanor arrests and one felony arrest during the reporting period. The department also assisted with or worked three accidents and completed 25 incident reports. Bailiffs logged eight hours for the week.
According to the release, investigators conducted three interviews related to ongoing cases and held 18 investigative conferences. One death investigation was also opened during the week.
At the Marion County Detention Center, six inmates were booked and five were released. The jail ended the week housing 46 inmates.
Recent bookings listed on the inmate roster include:
Jason Ellis, 42, of Saint Robert, Missouri, arrested April 1 and held for the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
Brandon Allen Schlotman, 25, of Summit, arrested March 30 on an aggravated assault charge. Bond was set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Marion County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. April 28.
Coby C. Campbell, 33, of Mount Judea, arrested March 30 for failure to appear. He is scheduled to appear in Marion County District Court at 9 a.m. April 6.
Thomas John Thompson, 82, of Yellville, arrested March 30 on an Act 570 hold with charges pending.
Charles William Bergman, 58, of Oakland, arrested March 30 on charges of failure to pay and two felony failure to appear counts. He has court dates scheduled for April 6 in district court and April 14 in circuit court.
John Paul Seward, 33, of Mountain Home, arrested March 28 on felony charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in Marion County Circuit Court at 9 a.m. April 14.
Leigh Goldsworth Blackmon, 34, of Flippin, arrested March 27 and held for court.
The sheriff’s office also reported several recent inmate releases. Officials noted that while these releases occurred recently, some individuals were originally arrested prior to March.

Christopher Logan Adams, 34, of Yellville, arrested Oct. 12, 2025, for failure to appear and released March 31.
Dustin Ronald Arford, 19, of Yellville, arrested and released March 31 on charges of third-degree domestic battery and first-degree interference with emergency communications.
Vanessa Marie Clark, 37, of Yellville, originally arrested Feb. 11 and released March 31 on charges of failure to appear and tampering with physical evidence.
James Robert Edwards, 45, of Little Rock, arrested March 17 and released April 1 on charges of bond revocation, failure to appear and failure to pay.
Dylan Fredrick Hollaway, 31, of Little Rock, originally arrested Feb. 13 and released March 31 on multiple charges, including theft, fleeing, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary, breaking or entering and related offenses.
Sarah Ann Lambert, 45, of Drury, Missouri, arrested March 24 and released March 31 on charges of failure to appear and bond revocation.
Frank Elmer McElyea, 52, of Flippin, arrested and released April 1 while serving court-ordered jail time.
Zachary Michael Plant, 28, of Yellville, arrested March 28 and released March 31 on charges including third-degree domestic battery, aggravated assault on a family or household member, first-degree terroristic threatening, interference with emergency communications and endangering the welfare of a minor.
All charges are allegations, and defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
