Featured Pet of the Day – ‘Celeste’

Sweet, resilient, and full of love—Celeste is a 2-year-old Lab mix who’s been through a lot, but still greets every day with hope in her heart.

 

After arriving at the shelter in January, it was discovered that Celeste had torn ligaments in both of her back legs. She’s already conquered the first surgery like a champ and is nearly healed—but she still needs a second surgery to fully reclaim her mobility and live the pain-free life she deserves.

 

Right now, Celeste is searching for a calm and loving foster—or better yet, a forever home—where she can continue her recovery.

 

She’s not asking for much. Just a quiet place to rest, a few gentle walks, and someone willing to give her the kindness and care she’s never stopped believing in. She’s doing wonderfully on her short walks with shelter staff and has a heart-melting personality that makes everyone who meets her fall in love.
