Lancaster has served the university in several roles during his tenure, including instructor and lecturer, assistant director of university communications, special projects coordinator, assistant to the chancellor, assistant professor and director of the William and Virginia Darr Honors Program, dean of academic affairs and interim chancellor before being named chancellor in 2022. He is retiring from the university July 1. (MSU-WP)
