Akers, MO. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol has reported that an 80-year-old male of Pacific, Missouri, has passed away after being run over by their own vehicle.
This event took place on County Road 359, ten miles east of Akers. The report outlines that the unnamed male got out of their vehicle to secure a fence and didn’t place their Toyota Tundra in park. This led to the vehicle travelling forward and running over the driver at 12:55 on February 5th.

The driver was pronounced deceased by Shannon County Coroner Eugene Dotson at 2:12pm.
