An accident in Shannon County injured a 30-year-old Winona man on Monday evening on Old 60 near Route E.
The accident occurred when the 17-year-old driver from Winona slid on ice causing him to lose control. The 2001 GMC Yukon he was driving left the road and struck a tree.

The driver was not injured but the passenger sustained minor injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy St. Francis in Mountain View for treatment.
