Alton, MO. – After roughly three years of consistent effort and planning, Bootleggers BBQ, an Ozarks favorite that originally resided in West Plains, will be reopening outside of Alton.
Originally closing due to the property they were on in West Plains being sold, Bryan and Jessica Staack found their way down to Alton, Missouri to the site of an old church.
For the past three years, the pair have worked on rennovating the building into the location of the new Bootleggers BBQ, with their grand opening scheduled for tonight. While they were rennovating, the pair kept afloat by maintaining their catering business, with organizations and private individuals still looking to have Bootleggers BBQ at their events.
In a statement about the opening, Bryan thanked the public for their love of their food, and wished to welcome everyone to the new building, found at 114 County Road 412, Alton, MO, United States, 65606.
The new site will also include a variety of family activites, inlcuding miniature golf, cornhole, ring toss, ice cream, and more.
