A 36‑year‑old Alton man was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon on a felony warrant out of Ripley County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jake R. Sibley was arrested at 4:31 p.m. on a felony Ripley County warrant for endangering the welfare of a child. Troopers also report Sibley was charged with driving while suspended at the time of the arrest.
Sibley was transported to the Howell County Jail.
