Corporal T.S. Craig wrote that Steagall told officers “Rodman was not there” multiple times as they arrived at the home on State Route N to serve an outstanding felony warrant. However, Rodman’s mother told Trooper C. Battreal that Rodman was inside the same garage Steagall had just exited. After officers announced they were applying for a search warrant, Rodman opened the door and surrendered.

Steagall was taken into custody around 11:30 a.m. and booked into the Howell County Jail. The statement notes she was arrested for “felony Hindering Prosecution.”
