The Ava Police Department is asking all citizens to please check their vehicles to ensure that no firearms or weapons are missing. During the recent incident involving a robbery suspect who fled from law enforcement, it is possible the individual may have retrieved or come into possession of a weapon while evading officers.
If you discover that a firearm or weapon is missing, please contact Sgt. Stroud at the Ava Police Department immediately 417-683-2900.
