A 70-year-old Birch Tree man was injured in an accident Saturday afternoon. The accident occurred on Highway E seven miles west of Eminence when he overcorrected in a 2015 Jeep Patriot, struck a tree and overturned, causing the rear of the vehicle to travel into the roadway where it struck a2024 Silverado 2500 driven by a 40-year-old Birch Tree man.
The 70-year-old Birch Tree man was transported to Mercy St Francis in Mountain View for treatment of minor injuries. The other driver was not injured according to the crash report.
