Route 142 in Oregon County will be closed next month as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.

The closure will affect the stretch of roadway between Route U and Route Y near Billmore.
Weather permitting, the work is scheduled for Monday, March 2 through Thursday, March 5, with crews on site daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. MoDOT says the work zone will be clearly marked with signs, and motorists should use caution when traveling near the area.
