Buy Missouri Day to Celebrate Local Businesses at the Capitol April 23

On Wednesday, April 23, Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger will host Buy Missouri Day at the State Capitol, bringing together dozens of businesses from across the state to spotlight Missouri-made products and underscore the power of buying local.

The Buy Missouri initiative, launched in 2017 by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor, now supports over 650 Missouri businesses and 60 retail partners. The program aims to boost tourism, support entrepreneurship, and stimulate economic growth by encouraging consumers to choose products grown or manufactured in Missouri.

Vendors will set up in the Capitol Rotunda, offering a wide variety of goods—from artisanal soaps and handcrafted gifts to locally made barbecue grills and furnaces. The event is open to legislators, staff, and all Capitol visitors, providing a hands-on opportunity to explore and support the diverse talents of Missouri entrepreneurs.
