The Howell County Health Department will host a free car seat safety check on Friday, March 27, from 10 a.m. to noon at the West Plains Fire Department, located at 1901 Kissinger Street.
Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site to inspect car seats, ensure they are properly installed, and answer questions from parents and caregivers. The department says the event is designed to help families confirm that their children are riding safely and in compliance with current guidelines.
