Statement from Carter County Sheriff’s Office:
On 7/30/2025 members of the Carter County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. 60 hwy. During the stop our K9 team was deployed and indicated to the presence of illegal substance odor. During the search of the vehicle a large quantity of suspected methamphetamine was recovered along with other items indicating the crime of delivery of a controlled substance.
The Carter County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to finding drug dealers who peddle this plague into our community. Great Job to Detective Mark Moore and K9 Team , Sgt. Kevin Jotz and K9 Aza.
Stanley Gillette of Fordland, Mo was arrested and a warrant was issued for Delivery of a controlled substance with No bond.
Linda Bowers of Springfield, Mo was arrested and a warrant was issued for Delivery of a controlled substance with No bond.
