Caufield Woman Charged with Trafficking Drugs

A Caufield woman is facing felony drug‑trafficking charges after investigators say she was found with nearly 300 grams of suspected methamphetamine during a traffic stop in Howell County. According to the probable cause statement, deputies stopped the vehicle on February 12 as part of a search‑warrant operation targeting suspected narcotics trafficking.

Detectives reported that after refusing a body scan at the Howell County Sheriff’s Office, a secondary warrant was issued, and a search revealed multiple bags containing a white crystal substance and a syringe.
