Salem, MO. – A chess tournament will be returning this year to Dent Phelps School, open to students from around the area.
This chess tournament will take place on Saturday, February 10th. The cutoff for registration is scheduled for February 7th. There will be three divisions for this chess tournament: grades 9–12, grades 6–8, and grades 5 and below. Those who wish to register are asked to email chess@serega.com to obtain more information.
Prizes should be expected for winners of this tournament in each division who achieve 1st through 8th place. Team awards will also be factored in. A lunch concession has also been organized for the tournament goers to purchase from.
