City Of West Plains Under Boil Water Order

The City of West Plains has issued a city-wide boil water order after the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (DNR) directed officials to take action due to elevated turbidity levels detected in the city’s unfinished water supply.

City officials announced that all residents should boil tap water for at least three minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, or preparing infant formula. The order will remain in effect until further notice.
