Community Blood Drive in Cabool Offers Summer Perks for Donors

The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is inviting residents to “dive into summer” by donating blood at an upcoming drive in Cabool on Tuesday, July 22. Hosted at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, the event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

As the region’s exclusive provider of blood, platelets, and plasma to over 40 hospitals—including Texas County Memorial Hospital and Ozarks Healthcare—the center emphasizes the critical need for donations during the summer months, when supplies often drop due to vacations and school breaks.

To thank donors, participants will receive a day pass to SuperSplash USA (valued at $44.99), a plush beach towel, and a chance to win a $10,000 dream vacation.

“The temperature is rising, and so is the need for blood,” said Michelle Teter, Media Relations Representative for CBCO. “This is a crucial time to donate and support patients right here in our community.”

Appointments are encouraged and can be made at www.cbco.org/splash or by calling 417-227-5006.
