HORSESHOE BEND, Ark. – The Horseshoe Bend Boating, Fishing, and Sportsman’s Club is inviting the community to cast their lines of support at its inaugural Fish Fry Fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at Veterans Park in Horseshoe Bend.
The event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and runs until the food sells out. Plates of fried fish with kettle chips, slaw, and hush puppies will be served by donation — pay what you can — with all proceeds going directly toward purchasing and stocking fish in local lakes.
Organizers say the fundraiser will help keep area lakes healthy and enjoyable for all, especially the anglers who frequent them. “Every bite helps,” the group noted, as 100% of the funds will go to local lake stocking efforts.
In addition to great food, the fish fry will offer a chance for neighbors to gather, enjoy the evening, and support a meaningful cause for the community.
