WEST PLAINS, MISSOURI- As the 2025 season approaches, The West Plains Zizzer Softball team plans to bring back seven starters. They came off a three-win season in 2024.
- These include sophomores Jaima Brice and Cadence Tackitt returning to circle the pitch.
- Senior Lilly Dixon returns as a catcher. Last season she hit .297
- Senior Jewlia Williard returns as shortstop. Last season she hit .321
- Sophomore Addi Talburt will handle second base responsibilities.
- Senior Shaylee Peterson will move from third to first base
- Sophomore Bailey Wake will move to infield.
- The outfield will feature Seniors Zoe Scharnhorst in center field along with McKrae Brewer & Bailey Bridges.
According to Head Coach Karsyn Smith, Seniors will be key to a better winning season
