From the Dent County Sherriff’s Office:
The Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the public with recent thefts. Over the weekend, a Bob Cat Skid Steer was stolen from an address in the 8,000 block of West Highway 32.
During a separate incident, thieves attempted to steal an additional Skid Steer from a property on County Road 6460. The thieves were unsuccessful in taking the Skid Steer on County Road 6460, but several tools and attachments were stolen. Due to the close proximity of the incidents, they are believed to be connected.
If anyone observed any suspicious activity, we are requesting you report it to the Sheriff’s Office. All reports will be kept confidential and may be reported by messaging us or calling our non-emergency line, (573) 729-3241, extension 2.
