The Dolly and Porter First Thursday Downtown Stroll is shaping up to be SO much fun! It’s going to start at 4 p.m. October 2, and there’s a lot to take in, but for those who like to: MAKE ART, BAKE or DRESS UP (or all three!) there are several things you need to do NOW to prepare for October 2:
Make your upcycled/recycled fiber art using castoff and secondhand materials for the “Rags to Art” Fiber Art Show Fiber Art Show inspired by Dolly Parton’s iconic “Coat of Many Colors.” Entry dates are Sept. 27, 29, or 30. See details at Ozark Artery. (Bring canned good items or your dollars to vote for People’s Choice on October 2. All collected will go to the Bridges Program at West Plains Schools.)
