Douglas County Man Charged With 100 Counts of Sexual Abuse

James “Jimmy” Inman, 39, has been charged with 50 counts of Statutory Rape and 50 counts of Statutory Sodomy following a lengthy investigation into allegations of repeated sexual abuse involving a minor.

According to law enforcement, two victims came forward on July 16, 2025, detailing incidents that occurred between 2016 and 2019, beginning when one victim was just 12 years old. The abuse allegedly took place at multiple locations in Douglas and Webster counties, including Inman’s residence and the victim’s family farm.

The victim reported that Inman engaged in sexual acts with her two to three times per week over a three-year period, often under the guise of “teaching” her about sex. The second victim described a separate incident involving alcohol and inappropriate touching.

Inman was interviewed at the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on August 19, where he denied sexual contact but corroborated key details about his interactions with both victims. Authorities say the victims came forward out of concern for Inman’s young son, who they fear may have been exposed to similar behavior.

A warrant has been issued for Inman’s arrest on charges of Statutory Rape – First Degree and Statutory Sodomy – First Degree, totaling 100 felony counts.
