From Harassment Warrants to DWIs: Izard County Jail Report

According to Izard County Sheriff Charley Melton, the following individuals were incarcerated in the last week from August 11 through August 17, 2025. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
Stephen Andrews, 18 of Melbourne, was arrested on August 11 for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for harassment.
Dalton Tate, 19 of Melbourne, was arrested on August 11 for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for harassment.
Jason Engles, 18 of Mount Pleasant, was arrested on August 11 for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for harassment.
Kobe Bruyette, 18 of Melbourne, was arrested on August 11 for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for harassment.
Sean Omalley, 38 of St. Joe, was arrested on August 11 for fictitious tags, failure to register a vehicle, no seat belt, no proof of insurance, and driving on a suspended license. Omalley also had a failure to appear warrant out of Baxter County.
Robert Rice, 47 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on August 11 for possession of a controlled substance and disorderly conduct.
Stephen Whaples, 36 of Mountain Home, was transferred to the Izard County Jail on August 13 on the charges of speeding, fleeing on foot, improper use of vehicle registration, no proof of insurance, criminal trespass, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Whaples also has a parole hold.
Joseph Miller, 42 of Ash Flat, was arrested on August 14 for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
Kesi Williams, 21 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on August 14 pending formal charges for possession of a controlled substance.
David Thomson, 53 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on August 15 for bond revocation out of the Izard County Circuit Court. Thomson is also pending formal charges for failure to follow sex offender registration.
Miguel Lino, 41 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested on August 16 for domestic battery 3rd degree.
Joseph Bullis, 46 of Melbourne, was arrested on August 17 for driving left of center, careless driving, and DWI.
Braden Merriman, 20 of Harrison, was arrested on August 17 for open container of alcohol in a vehicle and minor in possession of alcohol.
Joshua Elliot, 18 of Everton, was arrested on August 17 for open container of alcohol in a vehicle and minor in possession of alcohol.
Nathan Hellums, 34 of Hardy, was arrested on August 17 for a warrant out of the Izard County District Court for failure to appear.
