According to the Probable Cause Statement, Luke Seidel of Drury is charged with two counts of each, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Harassment, Armed Criminal Action, and Assault.
On 05/21/25, Ozark County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a 911 call of a shooting which occurred at the 95 bridge in Drury, the reporting party stated he and his wife was down at the bridge on 95 when an individual came out of a brown house on the right side of the bridge and shot approximately 15 shots off in their general direction. The reporting party stated the armed male stated to the reporting party that after dark they did not want to be there. Upon the reporting party asking who the subject was, the subject stated it did not matter, and that they were staring down the barrel of an M4.
At approximately 22:32 hours Deputies arrived on scene at the bridge and looked for any gun shell casings or ricocheted marks that might be located near bridge, due to not locating such we went up to the brown house on the right of the bridge with address of 35514 state highway 95, Deputy Lane saw several spent shells laying in a pile on the front porch.
Upon deputy Lane turning to walk back to the vehicle, gunshots were fired from what sounded like the side or back of the residence. Deputies announced themselves several times, a male wearing nothing, but a pair of gym shorts stepped out of the front door of the residence with a rifle slung around his neck, the male’s flashlight that was attached to his rifle was pointed towards the deputies as well as the rifle. Deputies gave the male commands to drop the rifle and to step away from the rifle. The male was very incoherent and reluctant to follow commands. Upon the male being transported back to the Ozark County jail the male refused a Breathalyzer sample as well as a blood draw sample. A refusal of gunshot residue kit also transpired from the male. Deputies that were still on scene seized several empty shell casings off the front porch of the residence as well as 19 empty shell case out of the back yard just below the back deck, all in which match the caliber of the rifle the male had when he came outside the front door of the residence.
