Fair Grove, MO. – According to a recent announcement from the Fair Grove Fire Protection District, a water rescue operation took place over the weekend, and both an adult and a minor were successfully pulled from a potentially life-threatening situation.
The call began at around 9:50pm on Saturday, June 8th. Crews responded to information on a car going into the river on CC Highway. On arrival, no car was seen and a search of the area was conducted.
After a foot search, cries for help were heard and both an adult and a minor were found clinging to a tree in the river. Additional assistance arrived from Springfield, and a water rescue unit arrived afterward to secure the trapped individuals at roughly 10:51pm.
Both were found to be uninjured.
