On September 15, 2025, law enforcement responded to a reported vehicular assault involving Amos Leach and another individual along US Highway 63 near State Route H in Texas County, Missouri. The confrontation began after Leach allegedly pursued the victim from Cabool, culminating in a collision and property damage.
According to witness statements and police investigation, Leach reversed his Suburban into the victim’s SUV while the victim was standing behind it, causing an estimated $1,512 in damage. The victim reportedly broke Leach’s rear window in retaliation. Multiple accounts, including one from an off-duty Cabool police officer, corroborated the sequence of events.
Leach later admitted to providing false information and was found to be driving with a suspended license and no insurance. Witnesses also reported Leach made a racial threat during the incident.
