Salem, MO. – On Saturday, March 23, 2024, the Missouri Department of Conservation is doing a free fishing event at Lake Turner.
Fishing is open at Lake Turner from 5 to 7 p.m. Registration for the event is required and can be done at mdc-event-web.com. Fishing poles, lures, and instructions will be provided for you and the family. All MDC staff will be available at all times throughout the event. Lake Turner is part of the Shawnee Mac Lakes Conservation Area which is located on Dent County Road 4110, approximately two miles east of Salem.
