A head‑on collision on State Highway 101 Monday afternoon claimed the life of a Gamaliel man and left a West Plains woman injured.
Arkansas State Police say 39‑year‑old Zackery Johnston was driving south when his 1999 Isuzu crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2019 Jeep driven by 44‑year‑old Emily Noblin.

Johnston died at the scene. Noblin was taken to Cox South for treatment.
