A Tecumseh man was involved in a serious single‑vehicle crash late Tuesday night on U.S. 160, five miles east of Gainesville.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 67‑year‑old man was driving a 2022 Tesla Model Y westbound when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway. The Tesla struck a tree, a road sign, and a fence before coming to a stop.

A 62‑year‑old female passenger from Tecumseh suffered serious injuries. She was flown by air ambulance to Cox South in Springfield for treatment.
