An 80-year-old Forsyth woman lost her life in a one vehicle accident four miles east of Bakersfield on Highway 142.
The accident occurred when the 2003 Toyota Prius she was driving ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.

She was pronounced deceased on the scene. This is the 19th fatality in Troop G this year as compared to 13 during the same time last year.
