West Plains, MO. – The first-ever Folds of Honor Golf Tournament will be happening later today in West Plains at the West Plains Country Club Golf Course.
This event is a 3-person, 18-hole scramble benefitting Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization. Folds of Honor provides scholarships in order to lessen the hardship of spouses and children of military servicemen and women who have fallen in action of have been disabled while serving in our Armed Forces. The organization was founded in 2007, and has awarded a total of $160 million in education impact.
This tournament will go toward benefitting local families within Southern Missouri and Northern Arkansas.
In addition to the tournament, there will be a Color Guard Ceremony, a luncheon, flight awards, player gifts, an auction, and more. Closing for the auction will begin at 5:30pm.
