The Shannon County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at a residence located in Winona as part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

Following that operation, Lettina Ranee Reese, a former employee of the Sheriff’s Office, has been formally charged with:
- Two counts of Forgery — Class D Felonies
- One count of Tampering with a Computer — Class A Misdemeanor
In a statement, the Sheriff’s Office emphasized its commitment to impartial enforcement of the law, noting that position, title, or prior affiliation do not shield any individual from accountability when credible allegations arise.
