Free Student Athlete Physicals Offered Across the Region Through Ozarks Healthcare

WEST PLAINS, MO – Ozarks Healthcare is once again partnering with local schools to provide free sports physicals for students this spring and early summer, helping ensure area youth are ready to safely participate in athletics and school activities.

These on-site physicals are offered during the school day, making it convenient for families and students to complete this important requirement. Schools will distribute physical forms for parents or guardians to fill out and return on the scheduled date. Families are encouraged to contact their school office or nurse for additional details.

Incoming 7th–12th grade students planning to attend West Plains High School summer camps are required to have a current physical on file.

Routine physical exams play a key role in keeping children active and healthy. Sports physicals not only help ensure students can safely participate in physical activity, but they can also identify underlying health concerns early. Encouraging regular activity helps reduce the risk of obesity, diabetes, and other chronic conditions, while supporting mental health and academic success.

Ozarks Healthcare has already begun visiting area schools this season, providing free sports physicals to students at Koshkonong R-3 and Fairview School Districts.

Scheduled Physical Dates and Locations (Ozarks Healthcare staff will be traveling to school districts unless otherwise noted):
