Hartville Man Facing Felony DWI Charges After Wednesday Crash

Hartville, MO. – A man from Hartville is facing a felony charge after driving while intoxicated and causing a vehicular crash on Wednesday evening.

The date of the crash was November 29th, and the time is listed as 5:10pm. Corey Harrison, a 24-year-old male from Hartville, MO. was driving while intoxicated in a Chevy Silverado on Highway E. According to information from the crash and arrest reports, Harrison failed to yield, and his vehicle was struck by a Nissan Sentra, driven by Heidi Heier, 28 of Ava.

Injuries and damage appear to be mostly minor, with only one passenger of the Sentra, Loren Meredith, 61 of Hartville, being transported to Mercy in Lebanon for minor injuries.

Corey Harrison is facing one felony count of Driving While Intoxicated – Alcohol with Physical Injury, a misdemeanor count of Careless and Imprudent Driving Involving a Motor Vehicle Crash, and a misdemeanor count of Failure to Yield.
