HCS arrests wanted woman, finds drugs

West Plains, Mo. – On November 10, 2021 at roughly 8:49 p.m. , Deputy Foster with the Howell County Sheriff  conducted a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 63 for failure to display a registration light. As a result of the stop, the driver was placed under arrest for an outstanding warrant out of Phelps County, Missouri.

The suspect was later transported to the Howell County Sheriff’s Office where the suspect was booked on her warrant. A search of the suspect resulted in the discovery of 53 black capsules containing what was field tested to be fentanyl/heroin, resulting in formal charges of Possession.
