HIGHLAND, Ark. — The Sharp County Health Fair is happening today, Friday, Oct. 24, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the A.L. Hutson Memorial Center, located on Rebel Drive in Highland.
The event is free and open to everyone, featuring more than 30 vendors offering health screenings, education, and resources. Attendees can enjoy a free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., provided by First Community Bank.
Available services include lipid and thyroid blood panels, flu shots, blood pressure checks, height and weight measurements, hearing screenings, and more. Information will also be available on mental health, stroke education, in-home care, therapy services, and cancer care resources from the Cancer Institute in Little Rock.
Organizers note that new vendors continue to be added, making this year’s fair one of the most comprehensive yet.
