Houston, MO— Hollis Tidmore, MD, FACS, a board-certified general and peripheral vascular surgeon at Texas County Memorial Hospital, has signed a contract extension with the hospital.
Dr. Tidmore joined the TCMH medical staff in 2022 and currently serves as the Vice Chief of Staff, providing inpatient and outpatient surgical services.
“Dr. Tidmore was instrumental in opening our new surgical center in March 2024 and has established a strong foundation for expanding our surgical services at TCMH,” Bill Bridges, TCMH chief executive officer, said. “His expertise, coupled with over 40 years of experience, is a tremendous asset to Texas County.”
Dr. Tidmore offers a broad range of general surgery services, focusing on abdominal areas such as the colon, bowels, stomach, pancreas, liver, and esophagus. His skills include both open and laparoscopic abdominal surgeries, hernia repair, and breast surgery. Additionally, his expertise in peripheral vascular surgery, which encompasses all areas except the aorta in the chest and the heart, enhances the scope of services available at TCMH.
