A Licking man was seriously hurt Tuesday night after his SUV ran off Highway 32 in Texas County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 7:52 p.m., about five miles west of Licking.
Troopers report a 33‑year‑old man was driving a 2017 Ford Explorer eastbound when the vehicle left the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and hit a tree.

The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, suffered serious injuries. Mercy Lifeline airlifted him to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
