The Howell County Health Department reports an additional ten cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to three hundred and forty-two. Currently, there are one hundred and two known active cases in Howell County. Of these one hundred and two cases, six are currently hospitalized with COVID-19.
Eight of the new cases reside in West Plains, one lives in Willow Springs, and one lives in Mtn. View. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Five of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown. Five of the cases have been linked to known cases.
