Howell Co. reports 11 new COVID-19 cases

The Howell County Health Department reports an additional eleven cases of COVID-19 have been identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to two hundred and ninety-five.

Currently, there are ninety-five known active cases in Howell County. Of these ninety-five cases, four are  currently hospitalized with COVID-19. Seven of the new cases reside in West Plains, two live in Mtn. View, one in the Willow Springs, and one in Pomona.

Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine. Eight of the cases are considered community spread, or the source of the infection is unknown, three of the cases have been linked to known cases.
