The Howell County Health Department reports that two additional county residents have tested positive for COVID-19. There are currently 16 active cases known in the county. Presently there are 3 of the cases that are hospitalized.
The first of the two cases resides in the West Plains area. They are currently on isolation following public health guidance. Investigation of the case indicates that the infection was community spread. Significant contacts to the case have been notified by the health department.
