The Howell County Health Department reports an additional 77 cases of COVID-19 identified in the county. This brings the year to date total number of cases to 1,665.
Currently, there are 210 known active cases in Howell County. Of these 210, five are currently hospitalized with COVID-19. The county is reporting its 37th year-to-date COVID-19 death.
Of the new cases; 44 reside in West Plains, 20 live in Willow Springs, nine live in Mountain View, two live in Pomona, one lives in Moody and one lives in Koshkonong. Positive cases and significant exposures to cases have been notified and have been placed on isolation or quarantine.
Of the new 77 cases; 39 cases are considered community spread, where the source of the infection is unknown, and 38 cases have been linked to known cases.
