Howell County Man Arrested After Assault

On Monday May 5th Phillip Waid Dimarco was arrest for 3rd degree domestic assault and violation of a protection order.  According to a probable cause statement Dimarco and a companion messaged his mother to deliver a fern, the mother stated she did not want visitors but they arrived anyway.  The mother told law enforcement that there was a strong smell of intoxicants from both parties, Dimarco asked to use the shower but his mother declined because they were drunk.  Dimarco and companion left but returned a short time later to get his mower, during this trip back he trampled the flower beds and broke the fern he had just gifted his mother.  The mother asked him to leave and he attempted to pull her through the screen door leaving visible marks on her.  Dimarco was later found and upon investigation, it was found that the companion had an order of protection against him.  He was arrested and held on a $5,000 bond in the Howell County Jail.
