Alton, MO. – A Jonesboro man was injured in a one vehicle accident Sunday afternoon in eastern Shannon County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred on US 60, one mile east of Low Wassie at 2:45 p.m.
An eastbound 2004 Honda Pilot driven by Anthony Luster, age 60, ran off the left side of the roadway and overturned before returning to the roadway and coming to a rest on the right shoulder. Luster sustained serious injuries and was transported by Air Evac to Cox South in Springfield, Mo. for treatment.
