An accident occurred on PP Highway 3 miles south of West Plains late Thursday morning leaving a Koshkonong woman with serious injuries.
The accident happened when a 40-year-old Koshkonong woman ran off the right side of PP highway and struck a tree in her 2015 Chevrolet Cruze. She was transported to Mercy hospital in Springfield by air ambulance.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was assisted by the Howell County Sherriff’s Office and the West Plains Fire Department.
