Licking, MO. – An individual from Licking has crashed his 2003 Ford Ranger on the morning of October 17th.
Bobby Williams, 29 of Licking MO, was driving the aforementioned Ranger on Missouri Highway 137, when he crashed at 5:30am, just South of Licking. Williams traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox, and overcorrected, causing him to re-enter the road and leave the left side.
Williams sustained only minor injuries in this accident, and was treated at Texas County Memorial Hospital. He was not wearing his safety device.
Williams was afterwards charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Revoked, and Careless and Imprudent Driving Involving an Accident.
This accident was investigated by Corporal J.R. Sellars of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Troop G.
