Squires, MO. – A domestic disturbance has led to the arrest of a man who was already wanted for drug-related issues in January.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office says this took place on the morning of February 10th. Suspect John Young, 54, had physically assaulted his wife on-scene before fleeing the scene and returning later, where he was then apprehended.
The probable cause affidavit states that the victim lost a tooth as a part of the assault, and was struck multiple times on the head and neck.
Young is now facing additional charges of felony 1st Degree Assault, and Armed Criminal Action.
